I am Umair, a technology professional focused on cybersecurity, Microsoft cloud security, and software engineering. HelpMeGeek is where I share practical lessons from securing systems, building applications, troubleshooting infrastructure, and learning the tools that keep modern businesses running.

My work sits at the intersection of security and engineering. I care about identity protection, cloud configuration, endpoint security, secure development practices, automation, and the everyday technical problems that slow teams down. A lot of my current focus is on the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender, cloud security controls, and practical ways to reduce risk without making systems harder to use.

I also enjoy software engineering and building useful web applications. That includes frontend and backend development, APIs, databases, cloud deployment, scripting, and automation. I like understanding how systems work beneath the surface, then turning that understanding into clear guides other people can use.

I love to teach what I learn. That is the main reason I started this blog. The goal is to publish helpful, direct, and real-world technical content for people working through cybersecurity concepts, Microsoft cloud security, web development, networking, troubleshooting, and day-to-day IT challenges.
